Candlelight Lodge is one of Thredbo's original guest houses having been built in 1958. Since that time it has undergone many re-furbishments, has tripled in size and at the same time has retained the original charm of yesteryear.

With a reputation for warm European hospitality and comfortable Thredbo accommodation, Candlelight Lodge remains one of Thredbo's legendary places to stay and visit whether to stay or to eat. It's owner Hubert Engel has been part of Thredbo since 1974 and has owned Candlelight Lodge since 1978.
